On December 7th, 2024 Calumet Park Funeral Chapel host an annual Angel Tree Lighting Ceremony to remember our beloved during the special Christmas season. Many families sign up to attend, each receiving a complimentary glass angel for a lost loved one. As the names of the departed souls were read by funeral home manager, the angels are hung on a beautiful tree by a friend or relative. As guests arrive, the Merrillville “Choral Teens” sing holiday songs for the enjoyment of all. It is truly an event to remember.
